Refund policy
Return Policy
At OPTI, we stand behind the quality of our lighting solutions. If a product does not meet your needs, you may request a return within 30 days of the delivery date, as confirmed by the shipping carrier.
To be eligible for a refund, all returned items must meet the following requirements:
- Original Condition – Products must be unused, uninstalled, and returned in their original packaging.
- Complete Kits – If the product was sold as a kit, all components originally included must be returned. We are unable to process refunds for incomplete kits.
- Accessories Included – All manuals, mounting hardware, accessories, and included materials must be returned with the product.
Returns that do not meet these conditions may be denied or may be subject to a reduced refund at OPTI’s discretion.
Restocking Fee
Returns that are not related to manufacturer defects, shipping damage, or fulfillment errors may be subject to a 15% restocking fee.
This fee applies to returns where the customer:
- Ordered the wrong product
- Changed their mind
- No longer needs the item
- Ordered multiple items for comparison
The restocking fee helps cover inspection, processing, and repackaging costs associated with returned products.
How to Start a Return
To begin a return, please visit our website returns portal with the following information:

- Order number
- Customer name
- Item(s) being returned
- Reason for return
- Photos (required for damaged or defective items)
Once your request is reviewed and approved, you will receive a Return Authorization Number (RMA) and instructions for sending your item back to our warehouse.
Returns sent without an approved RMA may be delayed or rejected.
Shipping Costs
Customer Responsibility
Except in cases of manufacturer defect, shipping damage, or fulfillment error, customers are responsible for all return shipping costs.
Prepaid Return Labels
If you prefer, OPTI can provide a prepaid return shipping label. The cost of this label will be deducted from your final refund amount, unless the return is due to:
- Manufacturer defect
- Shipping damage
- Incorrect item sent by OPTI
Return Inspection
Once your return arrives at our warehouse, please allow 2–4 business days for our team to inspect the items.
During inspection we verify:
- Correct order item
- Product condition
- All kit components present
- Original packaging included
- Accessories and manuals returned
Returns that arrive used, installed, damaged by installation, or missing components may be denied.
If a return is denied, the customer may choose to:
- Pay return shipping to have the item sent back
- Allow the item to be discarded after 14 days
Refund Processing
Once the return has been approved following inspection, a refund will be issued to the original method of payment.
Refunds typically appear on your statement within 3–5 business days, depending on your financial institution. Some banks may require additional time to post the transaction.
Banking Delays
Please note that financial institutions may require additional processing time before the refunded amount appears in your account.
